Rhea Younes was born into the field of bespoke furniture design and production. As a young girl, she recalls her fascination with textures, fabrics and materials, attention to detail, and hand-made items produced in her late father’s atelier, during her apprenticeship.
Today, based between Paris and Beirut, Rhea draws inspiration from eras long gone, her travels, nature and the art of serving. She combines her formal education and family legacy in artisanship, to produce bespoke projects and furniture pieces.
As a natural extension of her journey, she founded her brand Collective Y in 2019.
Collective Y by Rhea Younes invites viewers into a world that inspires, where energy flows boundlessly.
The brand, composed of bespoke luxury furniture pieces and home accessories, offers a sense of timelessness, evoking an array of emotions from every point of discovery.
Based between Paris and Beirut, the brand pays homage to traditional production techniques and artisanal luxury. Accordingly, it was only natural for Collective Y to open its doors to a community of talented designers to join forces.
As part of its contribution to society, Collective Y will foster its collaborations with aspiring designers, sharing skills and know-how in production, artisanship and upholstery, as a means to cultivate the ecosystem for economic stimulation.
